A Floral Thanks

Not long ago, my favourite Stampin' Up! demo in the U.S...Patty Bennett, who I love to follow, made some GOR-JUSS cards with the Petal Passion DSP and a selection of Stampin' Blends.

I fell in love with Pattys designs and she had no problem with me CASE-ing them. I knew it was a great excuse (like we need one) to break out the Blends and colour, especially to colour some designer paper which I don't think I have ever done and never thought of to do.

The only thing I have changed up is just the colours I have chosen to colour the paper with. I just stuck with one combo pack, a light and a dark shade of Calypso Coral, whereas I think Patty may have used several different colours for the paper.

Another thing I was drawn to with Pattys card was the Vellum overlay on top of the dsp. This was her tip for dulling down a very brightly coloured paper with a very busy background.
I love the way it looks!

This was an enjoyable card to make as I found it very relaxing to just sit and colour most of the elements on the card.
Then after the colouring, all I had to do was put it all together.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my project today.
