Rudolph Sings Carols

Hi everyone! I'm back. After a week off I think I can carry on with life.
Sometimes life throws you a curve  ball and you just have to put your big girls pants on and deal with it. Having said that, I must pick up where I left off and carry on.

So, recently as I was scrolling, this time through Facebook, as you do right?........I came across a really cute and fun christmas card.....which came with a tutorial video a few days later because it was so popular.

The demo I have CASE'd is Linda Parker from the U.K. and I have made her
Singing Rudolph Card

Isn't he cute!
There is so much I love about this card...where do I start?
Well I think it's very fitting that she has used the Merry Music Specialty paper as the background for this...fun fact...the notes printed on those papers is actually real sheet music.

Now I have had to do one thing differently........unfortunately I did not have the Laying Oval Dies that Linda used to die cut out his head and mouth. So I improvised and used the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies instead as that set has 4 different size Ovals in.
I have used the two largest ones for his head and mouth.

Its just a matter of punching and die cutting out all your pieces and then start assembling him.
I would suggest attaching his antlers to the back of the head piece so you font have to try and put adhesive on a small area.
Also attach his body to the bottom of the card first before placing his head down.

Now I have also used a very small now retired punch for his little paws holding on to either side of his hym book. Use whatever you may have in your stash or make your own if you are clever enough.

Lastly attach a bow and he is done! Also make sure you leave enough room between the book and the bottom of his head to attach his little bow.

Most of all, have fun with it.
Here is Lindas video tutorial for the card.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my project today.

As always, a list of items I have used to make this card features below and all items are available from my online store.

Until next time
Happy Stamping! (tap tap tap)
