After making 3 cute cards with the Felt Embellishments, I had planned on stopping there and then moving on to my next projects.....however!
I wanted to make a few more cards using the Merry Patterns Hostess Only Stamp Set.
I still had my Stitched Felt Embellishments in front of me so at the last minute I decided to coordinate the two.
I love this stamp set......because its a two step set.
So the first step is to stamp the outline, usually in black ink and then the second step is the "fill in" or the colored part of the lettering.
It does require a bit of lining up but because its a polymer stamp set, its SUPER easy!
I've also grown quite fond of using Crumb Cake as a base color to start with for Christmas cards and then pairing it with a traditional Christmas color, it really makes the color pop.
