A Silver & Copper Merry Christmas

Here is another card I have created using the Host Only Limited Edition "Merry Patterns" Polymer Stamp Set.

This time, I have two step stamped the candles. Perfect for a traditional Christmas card.

Because this set is Polymer, it makes the two step stamping so easy to line up for perfect placement.

Which is why I didn't need a second go to get this done right!

I have also used my fave paper again, this time in a silver design.

This card actually was a bit of a happy accident.

I had just intended on leaving the candles on the card by themselves without the border.

However, the piece I used to cut the candles from was sitting on the desk looking at me and when I noticed it, it looked like the perfect frame.

So I placed it over the candles but raised it with Foam Strips to give it depth and dimension.

I liked the look of it, so I thought "why not" and kept it.

It's funny how a card doesn't always turn out how you created it in your mind.

I also wasn't quite sure how the Silver & Copper were going to look together but it seems to have turned out ok too.

Copper is such a versatile color.
