I have finally found some "me" time to be able to sit and create using some of the products from the new Annual Catalogue.
Although, as usual, I was stuck for choice and had no idea what to play with first.
However, I have seen a lot of creations lately with the Foil Frenzy Designer Paper so I thought that was a great place to start. It so happens I also have an obsession with paper! Especially pretty sparkly paper!
Then it was time to break out a Bundle......Stampin' Up! make it easy by pairing Stamp Sets with coordinating dies or punches.
You can never have too many birthday cards on hand for that last minute birthday that sneaks up on you.
So here is what I made:
I am very happy with how this turned out. I love to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) especially when I'm struggling for my own ideas. So I got a little creative and CASE'd the projects on page 76 of the catalogue. There are beautiful designs on box lids, so I thought, why not turn those designs into cards!
For an added extra I also decorated the inside corner of the card and the envelope.
An extra touch for the recipient.
This project also allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and use colours I normally wouldn't use.
