My latest projects!

With all the excitement of the new catalogue today, I thought it fitting to catch up on my blog posts.

The only thing I struggle with when it comes to blogging..is what to say! lol.
So all I can say here is that these are the cards I have made over the past week.
They have all been made for different reasons of which I will explain briefly.

This one I made for a customer for purchasing a new catalogue. I have been wanting to use the Painted Blooms Paper for a while so I finally got around to it. The layout idea I CASEd from a creation I saw on Pinterest. Its simple yet pretty I think. I really like these colours together, Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey, especially with that paper. Unfortunately, my timing is off. I have chosen to use a paper that is no longer available to buy from Stampin Up. (good one me)

Another Sunburst card! I love these, probably because they are surprisingly easy.
This one I made in "class"...well sort of..it was more 3 friends enjoying an afternoon together and me showing them how to make this card. We used the new Bohemian designer series paper and matched it with Bermuda Bay and Hello Honey cardstock and used the new I Think You're Great stamp set.
This would make a great masculine card.

This is a great card. My friend asked me to show her how to make this. It was actually a project that a fellow team member demonstrated in a demo booth at the recent convention on the gold coast. Her name is Petra Tailor and you can find her at tailoredcraftiness.
I tweaked it a bit to suit me but I LOVE washi tape and I LOVE the butterfly die
The 3D effect really makes it "pop"

Unfortunately another Sympathy card, these are the ones I don't like making.
My husbands best friend Bruce lost his father Sunday morning. He was very sick. So I made this for him and his wife who spent time with him and helped him remain comfortable in his last days.
R.I.P John.

Now it's time to retire to the craft room and get some more projects done!
Until next time
happy crafting
Michelle

  1. Wow! These are all gorgeous Michelle. Sad to hear about Bruce. :-( I am sure that his wife will appreciate that gorgeous sympathy card.
